Upcoming Project

— Shindagha Museum In collaboration with GSM Project, we developped a series of short interactives for the Shindagha Museum in Dubai. It’s mission is to give visitors a chance to discover the history of Dubai Creek when is was bustling with fishermen, pearl divers and tradesman.

The Setup

4 Microsoft Surface tablets and an map of Dubai Creek projected on the wall. Players discover creek activities by selecting one of several boats that were used on the creek waters. Each boat is associated with two games. Once a game is selected, a boat pops up on screen to show the player they are active.

Objectives

Develop a minute-long game that shows the essential dynamics of a variety of creek activities. Each activity is associated with more than one boat.

•Show where in the creek these activities happen.

•Manage the input from 4 players on one projected screen.

•Assure that the environment design, the boats and the people are visually
historically accurate.
